A very good anniversary getaway..

My husband and I stayed a night at this hotel last week and it was a pleasant surprise. We made reservations for a King Suite only 5 days before going and when we got there they immediately gave us our keys (actual keys...none of those cards, unfortunately). Good things about the hotel - Nice big room with a jacuzzi tub, large bed (VERY comfy), fireplace, wetbar, quiet area, location was superb (centrally located!! 5-10 minute drive to the beach, Carmel, or Monterey...actually, the street that it's on is ... angelgurl2010, a user of Tripadvisor.
