Even though they claim to be "authentic" Victorian, they look, dress and act more like the Amish - rediculous! Lousy breakfast food, with leftovers from the day before, a cold room and dirty bathroom only added to my impression of a run-down establishment, whose owners don't know a thing ... By A Yahoo! Charming, friendly, flexible
Although we arrived late and had to leave early the next day, we were treated extremely well by the Innkeeper who was flexible and very friendly. We spent a great four days at the Gingerbread Mansion, using it as our base for exploring the area around Ferndale. The innkeepers were wonderful--friendly and helpful.
