Over Priced & Over Rated
We stayed here for 3 nights last month. I am afraid that our experience was quite at odds with that of others who’ve posted - in my view the hotel is over priced and over rated. We had a very spacious room but the faux antique furniture was a disaster - drawers that were rough and stuck when you opened and closed them and a wardrobe which was tiny for the size of the room. We had dinner in the restaurant, reputedly one of the best in Northern California, on two nights and while the food could not be faulted the service was something else. The first night our waitress (Ashley) brought the wrong wine then said our choice wasn’t available and then asked for it to be pointed out to her on the wine list and managed to bring the correct bottle at the third attempt.
