The impression you got about the service, the stale coffee and the attitude of the staff and owner, is that their heart is not in what they are doing. The water was cold during the showers at night. great for families
Juneau is cold in the wintertime. And Juneau is very small. After bundling up my toddler for a short walk around town, it was great to be able to come inside and hang out in the Silverbow Cafe and adjoining Back Room. The price is high for an older building with plain rooms that are actually quite small.
The front view is limited to the office buildng that is right across the street and the view to the north is of the parking lot next door.
